Come Sing With Us!

Ages 8-18, no experience required!

PCC is a place to be yourself, develop your voice, and learn musical skills through play, experimentation, movement, and a wide variety of musical genres. It’s a place to make friends, gain confidence, and experience the joy of group singing!

Rehearsals & Fees

We rehearse weekly on Mondays from September–May at All Saints’ (Sherbrooke & Rubidge), with two big performances each year, plus workshops and other fun adventures along the way (about one mandatory event per month in addition to rehearsals).

Junior Choir 5:45-6:30pm – $460

Concert Choir 6:30-8:00pm – $460

Youth Choir 7:30-9:00pm – $560

Fees include all programming and costs for September–May. Flexible payment options, plus full and partial subsidies available on a first come, first served basis.

Registration

Return here to register starting August 24th. Once registered, we will ask you to book a short, informal voice placement time slot. Returning families – look out for an email to sign up for a short voice placement on September 11th or 12th!

Open Rehearsal

Try before you register, September 14th at All Saints’, 235 Rubidge Street.

Choose your own adventure! Take a guess at which choir suits your singer best, or stay for more than one choir to see how it feels! After you are registered, we will do a voice placement to find the best spot.

Junior Choir 5:45-6:30pm (ages 8-10) – For young singers who are new to the organization and feel most comfortable singing in unison.

6:30pm – Important Information Session for ALL families

Concert Choir 6:45-8:00pm (ages 9-13) – For singers who are ready to sing in two parts and expand their sight reading skills.

Youth Choir 6:45-9:00pm (ages 11-18) [Note: all Youth Choir singers will join the full Concert Choir rehearsal this night] – Often suited for singers who have had 3+ years of singing or music instruction, or singers whose voices have dropped into a tenor/bass range.

Voice Placements

These are short, 10 minute sessions with Artistic Director Anna Eidt to determine the best choir and section for your voice. You can prepare a short song to sing, or not! We will do some vocal and rhythm exercises to explore your range and skills. More advanced singers can do a very short sight singing exercise.

We will contact you to schedule your voice placement after you are registered. We look forward to meeting you!!
